Brosgill Opticians

I cannot recommend Brosgill Opticians highly enough. My mum and me have always had the most caring and attentive service from Brosgill and in particular from Mark. Nothing is too much trouble and Mark always puts your mind at rest which is so reassuring with your eyes and eyesight. Excellent service and very professional and caring, we wouldnt go anywhere else.

The staff are all very friendly and efficient and I think that their expertise as opticians is much better than many alternatives. When it comes to the products they sell it is slightly different and it is with some regret I say this. I purchased two sets of glasses and I am prepared to pay slightly more for their service but within a short period the main glasses nose piece dropped out a couple of times which, I appreciate, can happen and that was rectified speedily. Unfortunately for me my son in law co-incidentally purchased the exact same glasses with a similar prescription the same week at 100.00 cheaper. I also purchased a pair of cycling glasses at a special price as I had bought the main glasses although this was 20.00 dearer than I could have purchased elsewhere. These, after a very short period, snapped due to, in my opinion, the cheap quality and the amount of accessories pressing against the frame. I was charged for the repair despite the manufacturers web site stating that any damage whatsoever in the first twelve months would be repaired free of charge or replaced. I did not question this at the time as I wanted to double check my facts. I would still recommend their optical service but question the prices and after sales.

over the last 10 years plus they have treated me very well, a bit like being family. They have been so helpful and explained things and helped me when I needed it especially with eye operations and information.. Thanks guys..

Shocking service - no-one in store - doors locked and advice for emergency was to go elsewhere - certainly will be doing in the future!
