This is a wonderful home with extra special staff. The care my mother received up to her death was second to none. I would thoroughly recommend this home

Our dear Mum had Dementia and needed emergency respite care with a view to becoming a permanent resident. Mum was assessed and accepted into their care. We were so anxious about placing Mum into a Care Home, it was something that we never wanted or envisaged having to do. However, our fears were quickly allayed! Mum settled quickly and that was down to the most wonderful, kind, caring staff and Management. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum was safe, warm, well fed and monitored around the clock. She was made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Mum loved engaging with everyone and building friendships with the other residents and staff and loved how warm, friendly and professional they were. Mum felt physically and physiologically safe and secure. All her needs were being met. She really enjoyed all her meals and treats and services of their hairdresser and chiropodist. She also loved the entertainment in house and even attended a Pantomime, which she thought was wonderful. Carleton Court, Pontefract turned out to be Mums last, but best possible chapter. She was so very happy, relaxed and loved it there. Thank you to all the staff and Management (Earth Angels) who were just fantastic with Mum, just as they have been fantastic with us since Mums sad passing.

My Grandmother 98 moved to Carleton Court for respite care when the country went into lockdown in March 2020. It has been an incredibly challenging time for everyone especially the staff and residents at Carleton Court. The management and staff have done such an amazing job keeping the residents safe and well and avoiding the spread of this horrendous virus. They have gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe and well. It has been hard not being able to visit but my Grandmothers spirits have been kept high and she remains determined she is going to go home again! She is very happy at Carleton Court and is grateful for all the care and support she receives. I had my first visit in the new garden room 2 weeks ago which was so special. Upon arrival I mentioned to Rod that my Grandmother was hoping to have a cup of tea with me, I explained I had brought along a cream cake for us and asked if he could make us a cup of tea. Not only did he make us a lovely cup of tea he also provided plates with doilies and a knife, it really helped to make our day very special. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the home always put the residents first. I am confident my Grandmother is in the very best place, she is safe, warm, fed, watered, very much cared for.and happy.
