Health Care First - Ferrybridge Medical Centre

I hardly ever visit the practice as I am usually a well person, so when I requested a prescription for the medication I knew would treat my symptoms it became a joke!! My labrynthitis was really bad and I was told I would need to go to the surgery for a prescription....big joke!!! I explained what labrynthitis was to whoever I spoke to. To cut a long story short I ended up having to wait for the GP on call to ring me, and he did a prescription for me straight away. I could have been saved all the headaches, dizziness and sickness if someone had acted correctly earlier. I would recommend that some of the staff could do with more training in regards to medications and illnesses!!

I have never felt so unhappy to ring my Gp because of lack of empathy and care . I pay NI and we dnt get the service I have done blood test over and over and result never gets relayed to you its always lost. Its high time to find solution !! Shame on you Ferrybridge medical team

1 star would be a vast improvement on the service provided here, it's appalling and they should be ashamed. Why do they have to make getting help so hard? All of HealthcareFirst should be wound up and every surgery closed down. That way at least their patients could be moved to a better organisation. I think Harold Shipman ran his practice better, they're an absolute joke.
