        After a long hike up Scarfel Pike we popped in to get some food as not very many places to get food in the area Staff were very friendly and food was top notch, generous and tasty. A real hidden gem. Thanks for a lovely meal

        A brilliant beer garden for the children with the river for them to explore. Great on a sunny day. The staff are brilliant, the beer is cold and the chips are yam made ! Nearby activities: Close to Muncaster Castle, Gosforth and the Western Lake District
