I just had an appointment with a GP to tell them I'm struggling with my eating and my mental health....and she laughed. She actually laughed down the phone. I never usually complain but that's actually so upsetting and it really wasn't what I needed.

Always an excellent service, busy but friendly and efficient. Like all surgeries there can be difficulties getting an appointment but overall an efficient set up

I sometimes moan about the length of time it takes on the 'phone to book an appointment;- but never again! I have, over the last week seen the NHS at it's very best. I had an eye test recently and was diagnosed with early signs of glaucoma. I also suffer with severe pain through having arthritis and have had one knee replaced. I asked for an appointment and saw a doctor within 3 hours. I raised the question of the effects of glaucoma and was immediately reassured. Regarding my arthritis, I was invited to have a steroid injection into my knee and received the injection the next day. The relief was almost instantaneous. I cannot give thanks enough to everyone involved at both the opticians and the medical practice at Polesworth and Dordon;- From the receptionists, the doctor (Dr Gordon Brown), and the lady who came from Nuneaton to take a blood sample. All were kind, helpful and obviously caring. THANK YOU. (I have already thanked the people at the Opticians)
