Pocklington Arts Centre

We've been going to events at Pocklington Arts Centre for many years now. The Arts Centre is situated in the centre of town with some parking outside on the street; there are other off road carparks quite close by. It is both a cinema and a theatre so has a constantly evolving programme catering for all age ranges and interests. As we live a car journey away we don't use it as our cinema, preferring instead to visit for live performances. I like the intimacy of the Arts Centre; it has a lovely cosy atmosphere and the fact that the auditorium is not too big means that every seat is a good seat; the audience really feel engaged in performances. My suggestion would be that you sign up to the newsletter but also keep an eye on their social media and website. If you see something you would like to attend, my advise would be to book tickets as soon as possible as some of the big name performers sell out very quickly.
