Both myself and my Wife paid this place a visit today for some lunch. I opted for the Steak which was cooked to perfection and was outstanding. My wife opted for the belly pork.this was simply out of this world! We have eaten in quite a few high end restaurants, however my wife said that she has never eaten belly pork as good as this.We will definitely be back. Top marks to the Chef

We have visited the Kings many times as it is one of our locals. We enjoy visiting as it is a family friendly place and our child enjoys playing with the cards and board games that are supplied. We particularly enjoy popping down for a quick drink after work but be warned, one drink may turn into quite a few, especially if you're in front of the fire! We have tried most things on the menu, belly pork being one of the favourites! The menu is varied and provides customers with alternatives to suit dietary needs. There is a good choice on the lunch menu with generous portion sizes and starters and bar snacks if you wanted something smaller. The desserts are also very tempting, even after a filling main meal! The children's menu is good value for money especially during the holidays when children eat free when an adult has purchased a main meal. They stock a variety of bottled and drinks on draft including alcohol free options if you are driving. They have a coffee machine and can do a delicious hot chocolate which is perfect on a cold day! It's the ideal place to pop into after work and is also dog friendly if you're out and about in a walk. They provide water and treats as well. They also carry out functions including live music and bands. The staff are always friendly and polite and provide service with a smile. They will always try to accommodate requests with regards to seating and the menu to suit our needs. Overall we find The Kings Arms to be a welcoming local pub with good food, service and atmosphere!
