For a pharmacy serving such an enormous hospital, it's simply too small, there is only space inside for a very small few and then the rest have to queue outside, a queue which can frequently extend a long way and obstruct the walkway to the hospital entrance (and often includes people smoking). That said, I have never encountered a bad service, the staff are always very polite and do their best in difficult circumstances, and my prescription is always correct.

This is the worst staffed pharmacy I have ever been to, waited for 2 days and still had to wait longer for medication, it's a shame you can't give a negative star

Experiences depend on the time of day. Staff are entitled to a lunch hour ( or to go to the loo!)..and we can't begrudge them that. I have found them very helpful and pleasant, and I thank them for it. The actual collection area for prescriptions is small and can become crowded in wet weather when everyone wants to squeeze in. Bring a wheel-chair into the equation and it's sardine time! Not good with Covid still around. I am on chemo and still use a mask if I feel uncomfortable, and certainly wear one when I visit. This is good for them and for me. If University Hospitals offer them a larger area, or the chance to erect a covered area outside the entrance, it is an opportunity not to be missed.
