Fantastic place, just 10 minute walk from Tavistock and Nuffield hospitals. Rooms were immaculately clean, as was the communal kitchen/diner. There were guest fridges and freezers, bread, croissants, cereals, fruit and jam to help yourself. There were even ready meals in the freezer that you could have as long as you made a donation. Staff were lovely too. The deer running in the grounds was a bonus. All in all highly recommended.

Hubby rushed into Derriford from barnstaple for open heart surgery. I was in a panic. Kind nurse handed me a leaflet about the hotel. Rang them on route. So kind and helpful. They booked me into a singe room for 3 nights. Over the course of these last 2 months I have stayed 4 times in total. On every occasion staff have been very welcoming and kind. The hotel is clean and the free car ride came in handy on many occasions with the wet weather. Facilities are lovely. One evening on my return from visiting my hubby, I met a lady named Fran who sat and chatted to me about my hubby and my fears. She was amazing. Such a lovely warm and caring lady who works as one of their councillors. Also a lovely lady named Maggie who went above and beyond for me in my hours of need. Its just a lovely safe haven.
