Elm Surgery

I have recently moved back to Plymouth after living in Cornwall for many years. I have registered with Elm Surgery and have used them several times since living here. I would like to say that every time I have had to contact them, I have been given the absolute best sevice from the receptionists, doctors and all the medical team. Thank you.

Since taking on new patients from the closed Leypark surgery and the pandemic. This surgery has seriously gone downhill. They have constant attendance issues with sick staff and send text messages telling you not to go in. A stunt they pulled the week of the junior doctors strike starting April 12. It's disgusting that some people will have literally nowhere to go to get help apart from a woefully bad web service and a phone that is constantly engaged. Somebody needs to seriously look into the mismanagement going on here it's absolutely shameful.

I registered with Elm surgery in June of 2021 when I moved to Thornbury, until 3 weeks ago Ive not needed any medical help, I made a call due to being in severe pain and had a dr call me that morning, I was sent a link to self refer for physio and an x ray, Ive had to call again today due to still being in major pain, apart from the call being delayed due to the dr being Ill and told a locum would call me tomorrow Im really happy with the response Ive received. Surgerys are getting a lot of bad press lately but they have been very helpful.

Would give zero stars but can't been ringing for 1hour 30 minutes no answer just line busy useless no wonder people are dying more nowadays
