Very unprofessional comparing to other clinics of this kind. Staff dont pay attention during laser procedures which was actually scary. More interested in replying to text messages. Constant interruptions to appointment: calls, texts etc Not a professional environment! I chose to drive to Health & Wellbeing Innovation Centre in Treliske as this clinic was a joke, no medical training either.

I visited Nicki for thread vein removal on my face, I was left with bad burns on my left cheek predominantly and most obviously, but also above the left side of my upper lip and alongside both sides of my nose, where the skin has bubbled and blistered. When the damage had 'healed' and I could assess it, I contacted Nicki to see if there was something she could do to remedy this, no offer of a refund or alternative rectification of the damage, instead she offered rudimentary 'microneedling' on the biggest scar on my face, which involved her sticking a small gauge needle within the scar by hand multiple times. There was no follow to see if indeed her 'intervention' had worked, which it didn't. If I could have afforded it, I would have gone to someone competent to help the scars that she formed, but instead I am helping them with a DIY dermapen, it's been over a year now and they are still present. I would strongly advice to not use this service, she's unprofessional, uncaring and flippant about her practice, my experience makes me question her eligibility to be in charge of potentially damaging equipment such as lasers, and what has deemed her qualified. Just because you can afford an expensive machine, doesn't mean you should use it on others.

Thanks to Refresh Southwest my partner has a permanent deep welt on her cheek after a bungled laser treatment session.The Beautician who carried out the treatment is incompetent.

As a long term & experienced user of laser hair removal and other treatments such as Botox & fillers, I have to say this was by far the worst experience of all the clinics in Devon & Cornwall. I wont be returning as staff here are not medically trained and dont pay attention to the procedures and health & safety! Nikki was distracted with her mobile phone while handling a laser. If you value your safety & well-being, go elsewhere as the prices are not competitive either.
