This is a bad post office . The queue is always extremely long and usually a member of staff is standing there trying hard to be useful but would be better employed behind the counter serving. The staff who work behind the counter are good except for one man who simply walks from one counter to the other . He doesnt do anything else , he just walks between the two counters . Its left to the two women and one other man, who are completely swamped . I actually avoid this place whenever possible . Top marks to the two women and man who work behind the counter though . Whatever theyre paying you its not enough. Sack the older guy though . Hes as much use as mud flaps on a turtle.

I asked how much a product cost because it wasn't the price displayed on the shelf and a young seller with glasses spoke very badly to me. He was very rude.

I have been coming to Plumstead High Street Post Office for seven years as I cannot fault the service. I am an eBay seller so am in most days, on occasions with two bags full and they never complain. They are always friendly, go out of their way to help, and on the one occasion they did not know the answer spent 15 minutes phoning around to get the answer. Unlike some Post Offices there are always two members of staff on the counters, normally three, and when there are two will quickly open up the third counter when necessary. If you are coming by bus it stops right outside the door, by car you get free 30 min parking in Galloson Road, Lakedale Road, and Conway Road but ensure you are in the right bay and get a ticket from the machine - you put your reg number in, click the green button and when it asks for payment click the green button again and you get a ticket. Thank you to all the staff there.
