Im not sure what has happened to this nursery and its staffing. It has gone drastically downhill over the last 2 yrs. The staff are very rude,I'm beginning to wonder if they are actually qualified for their positions as noone seems to know what they're doing. The place is dirty and definitely not covid level of clean thats for sure. Absolutely disgusting wont be sending my child there again.
My review 2 years ago: What a lovely bunch of staff. I cannot fault them at all. Always made to feel welcome, I have no issues with the nursery or it's staff. I know my child is well fed, and looked after. Any questions I have had, the staff are always there to answer and act promptly. Both admin and nursery staff do such a fantastic job. All questions, Tracy the manager and Kerry the admin, were able to answer for me, and put me at ease, with the application process ect. Any requirements I needed the staff were happy to meet them.

Although, I did not use the nursery, I came in for the activities (stay & learn, learn & play & sticky fingers) that was on during the half term. Below is a low down on my experience.
Facilities:
The facilities here are very good. Toilets for the children, baby changing area. They also have plenty of toys and equipment to make learning fun. For example, reading books, slime, numbers etc. They also have sing along right at the end of day which is always fun and the children & parents all join in. They also have an outside area with mini doll houses, a shop and slides.
Children:
The children seem very happy here and play and interact with members of staff and toys etc.
Hygiene:
I have not seen any issues with hygiene. Everything seems to be clean and tidy. Especially, at the end of activities where all toys etc are put away promptly.
Staff:
I mostly liaised with Dawn who is an asset to Plumstead Children's Centre. I can see that she really puts her heart and soul working with the children and cares for their well-being and development.
Other members of staff were polite, friendly and easily approachable.
Royal Tea Party:
This was a fun day for children & parents. The centre laid out a beautiful spread full of sandwiches, cakes and other goodies. Later on, there was a kids disco and bubbles. Everyone enjoyed themselves and left satisfied.
Community:
I found that the Centre attracted people from a diverse range of background, everyone felt welcome.
I cannot recommend this Centre enough!
