Francesco Pierazzi Architects

Francesco designed and project managed a loft conversion and ground floor refurbishment for us in our house in Brixton. Francesco excelled in all areas, from helping us with the concept of our renovations to guiding us through implementation. He was very patient (we took a long time from initial contact to getting going!) and was there to offer advice on any and all aspects of the practical and the aesthetic. As a working couple with two young kids and minimal time to think about anything properly we relied on him a lot and he delivered to an extremely high level. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome, and would attach pictures if we were able to keep any of the rooms tidy for more than five minutes!

We had to renovate our kitchen and bathroom, and a friend highly recommended Francesco Pierazzi, and she was right! Francesco is extremely available and patient; during our numerous meetings he listened to what we wanted, developed a clear vision of the project and worked with us to find the best solution to our requests. During the project he was present and supportive. He has a profound understanding of materials and a strong sense of space and light. To achieve what we wanted, he came up with ideas which were creative, sensitive, practical and pleasant to the eye, yet never banal. Plus we finished within budget, which always helps! Everyone who has seen our new kitchen and bathroom is very complimentary they cant help but notice the quality of his work and attention to detail. During our meetings we had the opportunity to get to know Francesco beyond the architect: he is a warm, kind person and, between taking technical decisions, we enjoyed talking about exhibitions, books and food - who doesnt like porcini mushrooms? We just cant recommend Francesco highly enough!

Francesco was recommended by my daughter, for whom he had worked on her house in Pimlico.Having had other experiences with architects we were immediately struck how Francesco LISTENED to what we wanted and didnt try and force any pre-conceived ideas onto us whilst making very welcome gentle suggestions. All his ideas were spot-on and we were delighted with the result and hope to work with him on our new home. His strengths are making the most of the light coming in to house opening and brightening every thing up. He is also a genius at making the most of the space available, making the most of what is there (which is what we wanted) rather than suggest drastic (and expensive) options. However, if a drastic overhaul is needed (as was the case with my daughter), he is also up for that! Francesco was also a delight to work with very responsive and understanding of the brief (both practical and financial). Nothing (however trivial) was too much trouble. I cant recommend him highly enough.

Since starting working with Francesco in 2015, I have now completed several of his projects. So far I can confidently say that he is the best architect I have worked with. I very much like his designs and the way he is able to transform the spaces he works with. The way in which Francesco is able to manage the project, as well as the relationship with the clients, contribute to a smooth project that I have been able to complete very successfully. I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Francesco is the most professional person that I have worked with - warm, decisive and very knowledgeable when it comes to new builds, remodels and unique redesign. He takes extra care to understand all elements of the project, budget constraints and works to deliver above and beyond quality work. His clean, modern style is second to none, utilitarian and beautiful. He interjects useful suggestions and his attention to detail is top notch.
