Woodsman Kent wild camping

Great wild camping site. Youre guaranteed an exclusive stay as the number of people are limited per booking. Two of us had the woods to ourselves. No facilities apart from a compost toilet and a bag of fire wood but that makes the stay even better. Thoroughly recommend if wild camping is your thing but you prefer to have permission.

A fantastic, remote location for truly back to nature camping, my partner and I loved every minute of it and will definitely be back next year when it reopens! The location was amazing, under the canopy of all the trees, a great place to escape the immense heat we've been having over the last few days. Michael was very friendly and was there to meet us and explain the rules, only difference to normal was no fires due to how dry it had been, but we had a gas stove and the weather was so warm we didn't need any kind of heat source in the evening! There is absolutely no phone signal (if you're with EE anyway) but that was actually one of the BEST parts of the trip - so nice to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life. If you really need to get signal, you can walk to the entrance where a decent 5G signal was available. If you can't stand to be without civilisation for too long, there is a pub just up the road that has a nice large beer garden with a decent selection of drinks. Will 100% be returning (to both the camping AND pub!)
