Arden Bed and Breakfast

The location, welcome and rooms were absolutely fantastic. Myself and partner had recently got engaged and Sue (owner) put on a celebratory drink for us and lemon cake on arrival. We stayed here in 2021 and before that back myself and friend Dave in 2017. Great place to stay if you enjoy walking, lovers of the supernatural & those who used to watch Darling Buds of May.

I am so pleased we found Sue's B&B. It was the perfect place to relax for an evening as we broke our long return from France. Before we arrived, Sue was very helpful, suggesting a number of very good restaurants nearby so that we could book in advance. On our arrival, she was there to great us and quickly settled us into her beautiful garden where we could enjoy tea and cakes in the late afternoon sun (your weather may vary!!). She made us feel so welcome in her home that we could happily have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this for one or more nights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arden House and Sue was so kind and welcoming. As soon as we arrived we felt at home and were offered tea and a delicious homemade lemon cake. The house and gardens are beautiful and we couldn't have wished for a more delightful base from which to explore the area. Our room was very clean, airy and comfortable with a good sized shower room. The full English breakfast was excellent as was the coffee. We left feeling refreshed and totally relaxed. Many thanks.
