**Update** The day after I went for my original appointment for pain in my eye, Mel called me early in the morning to check on me and request i come back in so she could do an additional examination. Mel thoroughly checked my eye, removing some fibre that seemed to be causing me irritation, and I can say I feel much better. Incredible customer care. I will be recommending all my friends and family. Thanks Mel! **Original review** Excellent service. The optician is really lovely, caring and explains everything really well. She was very thorough and I feel that she cares about her work. Great experience

My husband and I have both had our eyes tested at Insight and received excellent, first class service. Mel noticed a 'problem' with my husband's right eye so she wrote to our GP so that further examination could be carried out at a hospital. This was duly done and after examinations and scans at St Thomas' Hospital he was diagnosed with a damaged optic nerve due to lack of B12 vitamin. He now receives injections for this. So thank you Mel for your swift action! Always go to independent opticians if you want the best treatment.
