My Grandad has been living in Willow Bank House since March last year. I can definitely see that my grandad (and all residents for that matter) are properly looked after. The staff are very kind and friendly. My grandad is always looking presentable and very happy. The staff always contact me with important information and they will leave me a message if I am unable to answer their call. Before lockdown, I was able to visit the home and I have to say that its very charming. The decor reflects different eras in the past that service users would have lived through and remembered. Willow Bank House has a Facebook page where you can clearly see that the service users are constantly participating in different activities. I am really happy with my grandfather living at Willow Bank House. As a senior carer myself, I can definitely recognise that the staff do a stupendous job providing a second to none service for the people that they care for. Please do not listen to any negative reviews because the home does not reflect any of them!

My wifes mother has been living there for four years now and considering she is 99 this year she is amazing mostly due to the care and attention of the staff at Willowbank.we cannot thank them enough especially during COVID and would recommend the care they receive to anyone considering a home for a relative who might be suffering from dementia, Ros & Peter

My Mum has been living at Willowbank for just over a year, moving there due to her advancing dementia. We looked at a number of care homes in the area but Willowbank was our first choice. We picked Willowbank because of its bright and cheerful atmosphere, the residents' activities programme (baking, crafts, music and dancing to name a few) and most importantly, the caring and kind attitude of the staff. 2020/21 has been a difficult time for all care home residents, staff and family members, but in spite of the challenges we have been able to maintain regular contact via video calls, window visits etc and I am reassured to see that my Mum has settled well, is happy and cheerful and held in affection by staff at Willowbank. My mother lives at Willowbank and I cant speak highly enough of the care and love she has and does receive there. Especially during the last 12 months when Covid has made life so difficult for everyone. The team at Willowbank have arranged visits whenever possible and when they werent they have arranged video chats and regular updates and photos on their FB page. The whole place is bright and well furnished and with lots of care taken to incorporate areas to enhance the residents wellbeing including a Sensory room. The food is delicious ( my mum actually put weight on when she first arrived there she loved it so much). There are lots of activities organised to keep the residents engaged and the staff are so lovely and caring. You can always talk to management as well as carers which especially at difficult times is a great comfort. Thank you all at Willowbank for looking after my mum so well.
