My son really enjoys his lessons with Ruth and looks forward to his lessons each week. Ruth is able to deliver lessons that are suited to his learning style which means that my son is able to build his confidence and access the playing in a supportive way. I would highly recommend her! She is nurturing, professional and makes learning fun.

Ruth has transformed the music learning experience for both my kids. Her passion for music shines through in her creative teaching style. She makes it fun and interactive. She is really patient and genuinely wants her students to enjoy the learning journey. Ruth was able to help my son master his performance piece is a very short timeframe helping him achieve a fantastic score and secure his first choice of school.

Ruth is a great teacher who is kind and friendly, and supports me with learning piano. She has taught me for years and im really happy with the progress ive made in that time. The lessons are suited to each person and can be more focused on grades, theory, or enjoyable pieces that I have my own interest in. I would definitely recommend!!

I have known Ruth since our kids were at nursery together. As they were growing up, she instinctively noticed a music penchant in my Son, but I couldnt see this. Furthermore, she had only just decided that she would leave her previous job and pursue her hearts desiremusicand in particular piano music This will be the beginning of an amazing journey for Ruth, but also my Son. My Son is referred to as the guinea pig and Ruth has housed many of those animals over the years. But for us, it was the fact that she was willing to take my Son onher first ever pupil. , hence the name guinea pig.she has nurtured him, tapped into his soul where his music lives, has encouraged him, been kind, but also firm.she has listened to what his ability can accomplish without giving him false hopesshe encompasses everything that a teacher of anything should be found doing. She is organised, compassionate, friendly, committed and adorable.but also firm when needs must Her reward in all of this is that she is a fab teacher doing what she totally loves and her students get what they want out of these lessons.because, like any teacher, she listens and builds on what she sees and hears..
