We used Gallant for an internal refurbishment and decorating project, rectifying substandard work from a previous builder. From start to finish Umar and his team put our minds at ease, with excellent professionalism and workmanship. Umar and his team completed a full refurb of our house with double side and loft extension, plus a remodeled rear extension with lower ground floor underfloor heating . He has been a great project manager who has supported us throughout the whole process offering proactive solutions to any problems we have had. We initially did have teething problems but Umar made sure he listened to our concerns an put changes in place quickly. As the project commenced Umar's team have done multiple extra things for us without any charge. He has said this is part of the build with his team, which has been excellent for us. Even after our job was completed he has returned to ensure we are happy and to see if everything needed to be looked at. The team have returned twice to do snagging and again helped do extra things for us. A great team who are friendly an proactive who have looked after our home and really gone out of there way. Thank you to the team for making our dream home!

Just a quick note of thanks and gratitude to Umar and the Gallant team for the work completed on my build. We engaged 3 companies to submit a bid for our project which encompassed a full renovation of the entire ground floor including the demolition of walls, installation of underfloor heating, bi-folding doors and, finally, the installation of a (amazing) bespoke window, measuring around 2m by 2m so that we had a space that allowed for lots of natural light. Despite the usual and numerous negative stories from friends and family about never going with the lowest quotation (buy cheap, buy twice etc), we really were tied to a very strict budget and needed the project completed before my son started his first year at school; Gallant were the only ones who could work to our budget and timeframe so we decided to go with them. Now, and nearly a year after completion and having spent a year in our new home, I can honestly say that our decision to engage Gallant was vindicated. Yes, there were issues relating to the build which we were obviously not expecting (you never do, right?), and yes, there were very stressful times however I was really impressed by their ability to correct things that went wrong as and when requested, as well as the fact that with hindsight, some of the requests that we wanted to make which Gallant (rightly) advised us against, turned out to be good advice in the long run. As an example, we wanted underfloor heating in the downstairs cloakroom and a 4 way bi-fold door which Umar advised against for cost and aesthetic purposes. Upon reflection, the downstairs cloakroom is used about once a month and is never cold and the fact that the 2 way bi-fold is more than adequate for our needs means that we saved a good deal of money. On a final note, we have had Gallants snagging team in twice since completion owing to settlement cracks and some minor cosmetic touches, they even installed my Ring camera system in my garden 2 months ago and didnt charge me for it, despite the work being out of scope from the original quote. To summarise, if you want a builder who is friendly, accommodating and very reasonably priced, Id definitely go with Gallant again as I probably will for construction of my outbuilding next year.

Amazing service from start to finish. Honest and professional interactions that made renovating our home that much easier. Definitely would recommend!
