We had been using riverport for a number of months, we had an issue with our very first clean being sub standard, but Anne (who I notice has reviewed her own company! ) apologised and the next clean carried out by different girls (lou and kelcy) was satisfactory, We continued to use riverport services requesting Lou and Kelcy as they were so good. That was until we kept getting let down time and time again due to reasons such as lack of staff or staff illness, so we cancelled for a few months, but then returned, unfortunately we were unable to have Lou and Kelcy anymore, but the 2 girls who came were equally as good, however on a couple of occasions they were complaining they felt rushed and were panicking because they were expected to do so many cleans in a day, in my opinion, it was too much pressure for them, and on days like that they often missed bits here and there, nothing major, but when your paying for a service it can be a little frustrating. Anyway, I have now been forced to have to cease using riverport cleaning as last night Anne emailed to say she was going to have to charge me more as its taking the cleaners half and hour longer than originally quoted, which would of been fine, if it was raised by a reasonable amount, however you can imagine my shock when she announced it was going up by 83 per clean. Absolutely extortionate. When I asked Anne to explain how she got this figure, she said that she had been undercharging and was only making 2 profit on my clean, and also hadnt been charging us VAT and she now had to do that etc, but since speaking with her I have checked all previous invoices, and they all have 20% VAT added on them. So in context, my 1 hr and a half 66.67 inc VAT clean has now gone up to 150 inc VAT per clean, I mean, I wish I could say I live in a huge great big mansion to justify this huge price increase, however I live in a small 3 bed semi. I would highly recommend the girls who cleaned my house, however I will no longer be recommending riverport as a company. Service: Standard cleaning

Customers for 6 years. Initially good. Had good supervisor as the owners were not hands on. Lost supervisor. Things went downhill. Concerned about items missing after cleaners' visits. Were not accusing them of being responsible but wanted dialogue which the owners refused. Some of their cleaners objected when we tried to point out poor service. Were accused by owner of locking in their cleaners in our property. Have electric gates which we always kept closed but which could be opened by a switch in the hall. We almost took legal action on this. One of the owners maintained that a number of her cleaners had complained and asked us 'to desist' from closing the gates. She didn't ask us for our side of this matter. If she had, we would have pointed out that her cleaners knew where the opening switch for the gates was inside the house (in the hall). They could open these gates at any time if they wanted to leave. It also turned out that only one cleaners complained not a number. The final straw came when their cleaners turned up, sat in their van and then drove off. They say that that they rang our front door bell. They didn't. We were in the dining room at front of property working on some papers and had closed curtains to shield us from the sun. The door bell is next to the dining room. It is a very loud bell. They didn't ring us - a simple thing to do which the owner, for some inexplicable reason. didn't asked her cleaners to do. In all the years we were customers, one of the owners never returned our phone calls. His phone was always on voice mail with a recorded meassage saying that he would call back which he never did. We felt very let down by Riverpoint Residential Cleaning. We felt that we had been very loyal to them through the difficult period of the Pandemic. In hindsight, our loyalty was misplaced.
