Called in for a couple of drinks. (It used to be a fantastic watering hole with food, and Sunday lunches We would visit as adolescents, the great flood.) The pub now is modernised with plain decor, stone flooring, the toilets remain on the entrance, there is a scooter alongside the bar is a talking point. The old pool table from the back bar is no longer there, replaced with more tables. I'm not certain what the kitchen area now is or if it is extra seating. The place is clean and was relatively busy. Since it is one of the only remaining bars open in Pickering. They had a good selection of drinks available. Will be back.
