        Beacon Cottage was spotlessly clean, a perfect home from home in a quiet location, yet handy for local amenities. A great base to explore the area, although we were staying whilst working in Pickering. The garden area beyond the patio was a bonus, to enjoy some sunshine and hear the steam train at the bottom of the hill. Pickering castle is a few strides from the front door.
