Willowgate Bistro

What a lovely hidden gem that everyone knows about. Looked at booking somewhere local to our overnight stay, read reviews and booked instantly. Arrived to lovely welcoming staff, choose any table (they'd just opened for the night) asked if we would like a drink while looking through there amazing menu, response YES PLEASE my usual fussy white wine self was easily delt with. Food ordered along with accompanying wine to breath at the table The food... well absolutely devine, from the complementary warmed bread with an olive infused Pesto and tomatoe mix To crab, ham bonbon starter's and sirloin steak cooked to perfection for such a delicate piece, and a duck main course husband said was also delicious. Fantastic food and we will be back

Had a really enjoyable evening, the staff are super friendly, the Bistro itself has a lovely atmosphere and the food is amazing with good wine, will definitely be back when we next in Pickering.

We have just had the most amazing meal at Willowgate Bistro. We were worried because of the weather conditions (snowstorm) Im so glad we went, the service, the food and the value. We appreciated all the wonderful extras Thank you so much. We will be back!
