This is my "must-visit" when I'm in Petworth. The friendly staff, fab coffee and the lovely food. Also, the location and ambience is top notch. My kids love it too!

Visited Cherry's Deli & Bakery last weekend for lunch with my family. Large enough table for the 6 of us however table was dirty and hadn't been wiped down. Two staff members watching over not doing anything who could have cleaned this up. Queued for nearly 20 minutes to be told they didn't have much left, at 12:00. 4 out of 6 of our orders they didn't have. Also extremely disappointed to find they didn't have high chairs for babies, this makes you feel extremely unwelcome as a mother who already feels anxious when going out with their child due to being judged if they cry etc. All cafes etc should at least have a high chair to offer. Kid-friendliness: Non-child friendly, no highchairs etc. which just states from the offset that they do not welcome babies etc.

My family and I came here for lunch having had it recommended to us and were not disappointed. The people who served us were friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Would definitely come again!

Not a great experience unfortunately, not greeted on entry, went to a table that was dirty and covered with food. 2 staff just stood behind the drinks counter doing nothing. Queued for food in what is a long process of 1 person taking orders and then giving things to the people round the corner to serve with drinks, ended up walking out as poor all round. Like to support independent cafe's but unfortunately this one is not helping itself succeed.
