Tried on an item, it was too big, no problem but no smaller size so OK, leave it but hell no, staff member suggesting I have it altered, gave us a tailor. Sure I could if it wasn't so loose but any alteration would change the silhouette and ruin the item.
Really not wanting to lose a sale, phoned manager to drop price (already in sale) ... Long story short, eventually got out the store following a rather bemused 'oh you don't want them!'
A woman knows what suits her, a good sales person flatters the client, responsibly, the clothes will sell themselves, they do not pressure into buying, they certainly don't appear so desperate for a sale to the point that something a good size bigger than needed is sold just because.
Ps When a woman takes her man into a store its not always because he has a wallet!!!
