Papa John's Pizza

Absolutely abysmal service last night! Phoned up to order exactly the same thing as we ordered on Tuesday a week ago, and many other Tuesdays before- their "Take 2 Tuesday" deal which is buy 1 get 1 free. First we were told that the offer only covers medium pizzas, even though we've been having large ones, then we were quoted 30, then 40, even though online price is 19.99. Spoke to 3 different members of staff (the driver was ironically the most knowledgeable and apologised for the new staff members' incompetence). However I still couldn't get the same deal 241 pizzas despite spending so much time on the phone with them. Eventually someone directed me to order from them online via their website, so I did and happily paid 19.99 for my order, except that then it turned out they are unable to deliver and its collection only. And that was after the payment left my account. We were unable to collect due to having to isolate after being pinged, so collection wasn't an option . I phoned back yet again, and apparently the most they could do is cancel my order and refund me the money (which I've still not received) rather than deliver, so I gave up and ordered Dominos instead. However I would like some clarification on what happened last night. I took my time to go through terms and conditions of "Take two Tuesday" deal and it doesn't say anywhere that the deal is only for medium pizza, or for collection only. The information online was in direct contradiction to what the staff members were staying. Please, could the manager confirm the details of the deal and any nuances, because I'm genuinely very confused. Cheers

Stopped using Papa Johns after this store took 4 hours 15 minutes to deliver my order and they got the pizza wrong
