Lovely place. Owner always up for a chat. Very friendly. Great menu, tasty food always served up looking very appetizing. Serves the best coffee in Petersfield! Wheelchair accessibility: No problem. All on one level, straight off the street.

Me and my friends went into this cafe to buy some drinks and sit as we'd been walking for a while, one of my friends happened to want to use the toilet, one of the members of staff asked quite aggressively if we were buying stuff as the toilet was customers only. We said yes as we understood that we couldn't use the toilet unless buying something. Then after getting a table we were asked to move rudely by the same member of staff. When we then let our friend know we were leaving as we weren't welcome, he then aggressively asked us if we 'had a problem'. We left quickly as the event upset us. While I understand that staff are not obliged to do everything for customers this worker was just rude to us for no reason.

I'm incredibly disappointed. While I don't expect servers to answer to customers' every beck and call, we didn't expect to be so upset and shaken by the server at this cafe. I went in with my group of friends to use the toilet and grab a drink. One of my friends happens to have an unhidden disability, and needed to use the toilet. After asking, she was told she was allowed to use the bathroom by a lovely member of staff (who later seemed embarassed by her coworker); we were then approached by a different member of staff who told us rather firmly that toilets were for customers only. This is while my other friends were in the middle of ordering, and he was aware we were together because we had walked in together and were still speaking to each other. We had sat down for less than 2 minutes and he proceeded to ask us to leave, as he said we should make room for 'real customers'. We were so shocked we left quickly as to not upset staff or cause a scene, and while we were letting our friend know that we were going to wait outside, he proceeded to ask us if we 'had a problem' in a very aggressive manner. This was such a shame to experience. Not sure if this bad service is given to other customers, just blatant ableism or because we were a group of young girls.
