Sew Creative

I recently purchased a Janome sewing machine from here having used one on the Quilt in a Day course. The course was a lot of fun, as well as being informative, and gave me the confidence to get into quilt making. The machine was a revelation and has rarely been switched off! I can thoroughly recommend.

After many years of sewing I decided to have a look at overlockers. Did some research, contacted Sew Creative having previously purchased my sewing machine from them having had 100% service from them. Visit arranged, having informed them which overlocker I was interested in. Several overlockers out for me to try around my price range. Jo was excellent going through them with me, letting me play etc. I felt confident enough to purchase one and not the one I had originally thought Id buy, no hard selling. Once home overlocker unpacked and started to thread, Jo had shown me how to plus having a go myself not such a daunting task as I thought and heard. Ive never looked back using my overlocker, using it for so many tasks and things I would never of thought of using it for. An excellent purchase and service. Plus I know Jo and her team at Sew Creative are there if I need them.

My daughter recently did a course and absolutely loved it, she made some lovely things and had clearly learnt a lot. We then had to buy a sewing machine! They were so helpful and took lots of time to show us how it works. Such a wonderful shop with such lovely friendly staff. A perfect creative hub :-)
