Petersfield Karate Club

Karate with Sensei Matt and his team is one of the highlights of our week. We feel so lucky to be part of a superb, well organised and thoughtful club. Matt is a charismatic Sensei, teaching not just karate, but confidence, resilience and life skills. I (we) learn something new every week!

Its refreshing to find a class that both my son and daughter enjoy equally. They say its not just interesting but fun too, due to Sensei Matts enthusiasm and knowledge. Sensei Matt and Harry are both welcoming, supportive and patient. I would definitely recommend this class.

I am so happy to have found Petersfield Karate and the brilliant Sensei Matt. My three children who currently attend classes, are absolutely loving every minute. It is rare to find an instructor as engaged and committed to each student as Matt is. This is someone who truly loves his art and is completely dedicated to the development of his students. When taught well, Karates ethos pervades all areas of life. It is not just the physical moves and routines that they learn, but he is teaching them with the stories he tells and the links he makes between the dojo and real life. I cannot recommend this club enough.

My 3 boys joined Petersfield Karate last year and could not recommend it enough. Sensei Matt is fantastic, he is a great role model, and keeps the classes fun and focussed. Its a really family centered environment. My boys absolutely love it and having the opportunity to take part in competitions is an extra goal for them. There are also a variety of venues, classes days/times to fit in with our busy lives.
