    Uncaring and unprofessional staff, totally lacking in people skills and communication. I was personally treated insensitively when I had turned up for a pre booked appointment, only to be told the manager was not there, and there was no record on the system. The fact that I was there to close the accounts of my sister who had died was no even acknowledged by the counter staff. I left in tears and will never return. When I phoned Nationwide to log a complaint, I was told it would be escalated. Some twenty two days later I am still awaiting an apology. The manager has refused to speak to me as I am not next of kin. However, I am a customer and I am helping to sort out probate! My advice is to invest your money elsewhere. I had really good service with both Lloyds and the TSB are fantastic.
