As per the other reviews. Refusing to cash scratch cards. Surprised he still has lottery licence.

The guy in the shop had a right go at me for cashing in a scratchcard I bought elsewhere. I'd had it a few days before I remembered buying it. I'm in Peterlee, there is a large national lottery sign outside, so I don't expect a shop owner to be abusive to me for cashing it in, it wasn't even a huge amount. I was going to buy stuff from there but not after his attitude. I'm never going back.

Never have a problem in this newsagent Ok you need cash unless 5 other than that no problem. Love the wool

Stopped in here to cash a scratchcard which this shop clearly advertises it sells in there front window . Was meet by a rude old man who refused to to cash in 2 as he had '' already cashed out 80 that day and would only exchange my winnings for another scratchcard or a item from his shop . He went on like a small child wanting sweets having a temper tantrum ranting it was his shop and he will do as he pleases. I like supporting local business but if this is how local business runs there establishment then I won't feel bad when he goes out of business for a second time . He was just as rude when he owned the old veg market.
