Incident date: February 17th I visited Peterlee store. For my usual monthly browse, I was greeted by a blonde young lady in her 20s and asked if she could help. Which I kindly declined as I was just having a look. I made my way round the store failing to find anything I'd like this time. But a little bargain box on the tills caught my eye as my usual eyebrow pencils were in there. So I had a rummage right next to an older lady who was serving. To be regreeted by the same woman who was at the entrance, but this time snarled and shouted at me "all that make up you've just stuffed up your sleeve, put it back, now." I absolutely did no such thing! I had one item in my hand which was the eyebrow pencil I had chosen. I told her I'd done no such thing but she still proceeded to shout at me Infront of staff and customers. I give her her due my coat sleeves are large but I was definitely not sleeve stuffing. Especially right at the tills inches away from the other lady serving customers. I proceeded to purchase said eyebrow pencil and upon leaving she had called our town centres security to check over my bags and pockets. In which they obviously found nothing. Upon working in retail in Peterlee town centre myself for a number of years. I can tell you one rule, is that I could have been stuffing make up where the sun doesn't shine, she had no right to pull me unless I attempted to exit the store. And secondly there was absolutely no need to scream the shop down at me having the whole shop go silent. Proving I hadn't and was not stealing I have now been notified I am now barred from Peterlee store upon attempted entry yesterday. I know staff members who work for your store and they had even notified this disgusting excuse of a staff member that I'd never steal. I'm well known in my area as are my family. But rumour has it "she just doesn't like me" I understand any member of staff can refuse custom. But surely something needs doing about this lady. I continue to shop in Stockton High Street store as I am a regular customer and a fan of superdrug products. But I am no longer allowed in Peterlee. Nor would I want to step foot in that place where this vile lady works.

Honestly shocked, went in there to buy something but left, because of a crying struggling child being forced to get her ears pierced. It cannot be safe to pierce a childs ears when she's struggling like that, the workers should've refused but did it anyway. It must've taken them a while because when I walked by again the little girl was still begging and pleading to "please don't" and "I don't want them". Awful, awful bussiness to accept piercing a squirming child like this.
