Wouldnt recommend. I part exed a car in July 2022 but they didnt pay the settlement figure until September 2022 so I was still making payments on my old agreement as well as a new one. They told me theyd sent a cheque to pay the settlement then realised they hadnt so said theyd send a BACs but it took them 2 month all together to pay it. This meant they got a new settlement figure that was 400 less so it benefitted them and owed me my 2 payments back totalling 518.24. I threatened Ombudsman in October so they said Id have the 518.24 back in 3-5 working days and told me Im not getting a penny more when I asked for compensation for them taking 2 month to clear the settlement leaving short of money. Ive only just gotten this money back in March 2023. Theyve said its my fault for going to the Ombudsman that it took this long but if they had given me the money in October as they said, I wouldnt of had to go to the Ombudsman or try to chase for more money due to the time they took which breached the contractual agreement of how much they were meant to pay. Also, I gave them the full logbook the same day I gave them the keys but I got a tax fine because they didnt send off the logbook, I thought theyd sort the owner change considering they had the full logbook but they dont. Jay said the car I part exed had damage that I misled them about. He never asked about the cars condition and didnt look at it, they just took it as it was. It was also perfectly fine before I handed it over except for a wheel bearing that I mentioned when I gave them the keys and they made me pay for so if there was this other apparent damage then why wasnt I made to also pay for that? Looking at other reviews, seems they do this to other people saying people have misled them when it isnt the case. The car I part exed went to auction and Jay messaged me asking if I told the person they sold it to that it had damage so it sounds like they missold it to someone else if there was this damage he says but he wanted to make sure I didnt tell the person it went to. Jay told me it was beyond economical repair but the October MOT after they took it showed only a wheel bearing, tyre depth and side repeater that failed it, none of the other beyond repair faults he claimed it had. It then passed an MOT in November. Theyre registered under the Finance Ombudsman who cant get involved in their disputes as they are a broker so theyre under the wrong ombudsman. Jay was unprofessional, putting laughing emojis when I was advising Ill be seeking 3rd party for the money they owe me. Left me short just over half a grand for 8 month saying its my fault because I wanted to involve 3rd parties but after he already said in October Id have it in my bank within 5 working days. Ill never use them again. Theyll probs come back with a story and change it but Im not really interested, just want to warn other people.
