Have had a few nice meals here over the years, but visited last Sunday and the food quality and service just wasn't what it had been on previous visits. We opted for roast dinners, but the parsnips were floppy, the roast potatoes were more like boiled potatoes, the server didn't offer sauces etc, and after trying to get a servers attention my husband had to go to the bar for assistance.

This is an excellent pub with friendly efficient staff, a good ambience and very good food. We had an evening meal here in group of four and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We visited again in March when Andy and James were brilliant - friendly, welcoming and efficient. We'll be there again very soon.

Food was ok but sparse. Discount not taken off at the end of our meal as we were told by the waiter. We contacted the pub the following morning but the manager would not honour the discount. Won't be visiting again. Very disappointing.
