I've been a member for a year or so and feel very fortunate to have found this club and this system. I'm just getting off the ground at the moment after having spent a long time learning, researching, planning etc, and I've learned a LOT from Dan. Originally, the biggest compelling reasons for me joining were that Dan is still a working photographer who is obviously doing really well in his own business, and that he's here in the UK. I knew that I was coming from a position of zero knowledge, so it was vital for me to learn from someone who was visibly "walking his talk" - I'd been involved in various US photography business learning systems before I encountered Get Pro Photo Club but they never quite fitted for me as they were always created by ex rather than current photographers. I was never completely comfortable with not being able to see how their systems worked in practice as they were no longer working photographers, plus the American market IS different from the UK in some ways. So right from the start, Get Pro Photo Club was something different as far as I was concerned. Once I joined and got stuck into this, I saw that the value was so much greater than just watching how a current "jobbing photographer" runs his business - it's the help and advice you get in there that is pure gold. Dan is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but he puts that knowledge across in a way which is really easy for people to understand and grasp. (And he's funny too! Extra bonus!) The teaching takes place primarily via webinars which are then put in the members' section of the website so you can watch them whenever you want. Each webinar has a particular topic but there is soooo much more in them besides! They're incredibly thorough, and they all build up a picture of how to really make a success of what we're all trying to do here. I particularly liked the webinar with live role play of a phone call to a client ... So helpful to see how these things work, when you hadn't actually done one yet! There is a very definite system to what he teaches, and no matter where someone is in his/her journey in professional photography, Dan gives fabulous, personalised advice, which is always fast in coming and very comprehensive. Other people in the community also share advice and support too, and it's a greatly encouraging place to be. As well as being a brilliant place to get advice and answers to questions, it's ever so friendly - something which Dan excels at, as well as really, really - and I mean REALLY - knowing his stuff. I'm so glad I found Get Pro Photo Club and definitely recommend it most highly!
