Barchester - Werrington Lodge Care Home

We were very happy with Werrington Lodge. ALL staff went over and above to help us and her. The food was lovely and the staff very happy to provide anything at any time. Housekeeping ensured the area was clean and returned laundry in a timely manner. Communication was very good .Staff were kind,caring and friendly.

Staff was very accomadating gave me a very warm welcome, made me a cup of tea with cake' place was very clean and tidy, felt very at ease and everyone seemed happy, manager was very nice and welcoming.

Working onsite as a contractor and had a lovely experience working on thus site with lovely and helpful staff. Head housekeeper has looked after us very well with hot drinks and cakes while we carry out of difficult job. Director at JM Laundry Services

Nice care home, nice residents pitty about some of the care staff attitudes towards new starters, no support when you need it, but expect you the new starter to help them who don't support you when you need it, new starters working with new starters when there not supposed to. To this day no one has phoned me or emailed me to find out why I walked out, at barchester pe4 I think if your face fits then your ok, the person who was supposed to be my mentor was not a mentor at all, she guided me in nothing except how to arcive files which is nothing to do with care work none of the other new starters did this, the list is endless, I walked out after being spoken to like dirt by other cares,it was supposed to be my day off I went in to help out as they had a covid out break and they treat you like that. All this within three weeks of stating the job, should have stayed in my security job at b&m which I left to do this type of work.
