The nursery has had its issues over the past 12 months, mainly due to high staff turnover, but are clearly getting back on track. Our son has been going for 2 years now and has progressed through all 3 rooms and loves it. He has made some lovely relationships with staff who clearly care about his well being. Steph, Abi, Kelsey, Angie and Tor in particular (he loves telling us stories about the team and what hes learnt). Really hope improvements continue and looking to some trips out and fun days!

Please avoid. Ofsted rated Inadequate. My son attended this nursery just over 2 years. There were issues through this time, however I always gave them second chances what I deeply regret now. I should not have trusted them at all. They only care about their profits. Staff turnover is very high. The toddler room is not that bad though because the room leader Tor is great and she truly cares about the children whilst the pre-school is a mess. My child was allocated a key worker only after Ofsted visited them. Before, no one really cared about my son's development. My son is now in another nursery and the difference is massive! The staff are truly caring there and my son is thriving.

Our daughter attended Whiz Kids for around 16 months. Very poor communication with both parents and between eachother/rooms, observations/activities were rare, our 2.5 year old spend the majority of her time in the baby room due to staffing so didn't have age appropriate activities, food was not as advertised for months and we were never told (this has now been changed to a more appropriate company), frequently came out in dirty nappies and sore (one time she was bleeding), 2 seperate allergy breaches and numerous other points were raised which the responses from management were poor. Our first complaint was never even logged properly. We removed her from the nursery as we couldn't trust them with her any more, we are so glad we did as their recent Ofsted report has made us incredibly upset that we kept giving them more chances, it was a very distressing read! Many staff (any old that are still left, theres been a very high turnover. We haven't met many new staff) are wonderful and friendly. Our daughter grew fond of a couple of them and I do believe with the right management, training and care the nursery would be the brilliant place we were originally sold. The placement of the building, the building and parking etc are excellent if used to its full potential. Unfortunately it just seems management care more about the money in their pockets and exploited the COVID excuse to stop allowing parents into the building way after restrictions were lifted...clearly so we wouldn't notice the other issues! Many parents, like us, have no choice to use childcare so that we can work - we trust childcare providers with the most precious thing in our world and we feel so, so let down.

I would highly recommend whiz kids to anyone looking for a lovely nursery setting for their child. My little boy has been attending since March 2021 and Im so happy with and grateful for the fantastic care he receives. All of the nursery workers are amazing with my little boy and they do so many fun activities together. My little boy has learnt so much since he started attending Whiz kids and his confidence has grown massively too which is so lovely to see. Weve just had a second baby and Im already excited for her to start her nursery journey at whiz kids when the time is right.
