DO NOT USE THIS DODGY COMPANY I used this company through click mechanic, bloke turned up as expected. Being a female I ALWAYS worry about getting mugged off, charged through the roof, well boy was my instincts right again. THIS MAN FITTED MY BREAK PADS AND DISCS INCORRECTLY, THEY WERE BODGED ON!!!!!!!! ONE SIDE NO SPRING ATTACHED, THE OTHER TWO SPRINGS ATTACHED! Again being a female how was I supposed to know he had done a dangerous job? 3 weeks on, my car is booked in with SEAT for a major service and MOT. (THANK GOD OR ID KNOW NON THE WISER!!!) I was then advised through a video from seat with all proof that in-fact these had been fitted VERY dangerously and Ashley left me to do 50 miles a day with breaks like these. I had no choice but for SEAT to correct this bodge job mans work. Yes Ashley said he would correct it, but my car would not of passed MOT if I took it out the garage, therefore driving around illegally. This man is VERY rude and hasnt offered my money back. I spend 418.73 on my front/back breaks and pads for me to be left with a dangerous car. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. NO REFUND ISSUED AND NOW IM HAVING TO TAKE THIS COMPANY THROUGH THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT. **** SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY **** Service: Brakes

Ashley, the owner of this vehicle repair company charged me over 1400 to replace a head gasket on a RAV 4 just before Xmas 2021. When he returned the car to me personally the day before Xmas Eve he said the repair went well and the car was running like a dream. I contracted with him via Clickmechanic.com and he came highly recommended. 2 Days after Xmas the car was driven from just outside Peterborough to Heathrow where it started to overheat and had lost all its coolant. An independent mechanic advised me that no repairs at all had been undertaken on the vehicle and apart from removing some trim, all that had happened to it was an engine pressure wash, I tried to contact Ashley to instigate the warrantee on the work ,but he refused to return my calls. I escalated it through the click mechanic process and he ignored them as well. In late January he finally made contact, arranged to collect the vehicle , but didn't turn up explaining that the had been drinking heavily over Xmas and that a colleague of his had actually done (or rather not done) the Head gasket change. He then refused to take calls again. I asked click mechanic to refund the money I had spent and after a short investigation, agreed that no work had actually been done on the car and they would start their financial recovery process. This failed as " there were not enough funds in his account to process the 1400 claimed" Click mechanic then advised me that they could do no more and it was down to me to get a refund. Fortunately I had paid by credit card and the card provider, once in receipt of all the evidence, placed a recovery charge on Ashley's credit card and after a few months I got all my money back. Lessons learned: 1.Ashley is untrustworthy and tried his best to con me out of 1400 2.His Guarantee is not worth the paper its written on 3. Clickmechanic.com try hard but cant enforce anything on their recommended mechanics 4. Pay by credit card as they can get your money back from con artists if everything goes wrong and it doesn't cost you anything. 5. DO NOT USE Ashley Murfitt or any of his motor mechanic businesses Service: Battery
