Big daddy food truck

Ordered in December and it got cancelled, ordered today (April) and it got cancelled. It's such a shame as I generally do like their food....

Mad disappointed with the portion sizes tbh compared to what I'm used to getting in North London and Luton when I order Carribbean food for the same price. I'm Carribbean myself from Miami and I know how the food should taste and when someone is trying to be slick with the portions. The oxtail portions were disrespectful to my wallet, incredibly tiny. The oxtail also looked as if it was scraped from the bottom of the pot as there was burnt remnants of the oxtail sauce and it was very salty. The rice had a refridgerated taste and was dry as if it was not cooked in the same day (Shame!). I ordered online intially on their website and it said my order was confirmed and was being prepared on the food tracker but when I sent my husband down there to collect, the man said the system wasn't working but my husband noticed him quickly turn his iPad on (Shame!) So we had to reorder and wait another 20+ minutes. I ordered a whole jerk chicken and sauce. Tell me why the jerk chicken was chopped up to bits, dry, and looked like scraps from the pan and he gave us this tiny little pot of sauce (Shame!) If you order a large you end up getting a regular size instead and he will tell you "yeah, yeah it's a large" Best to check your portions before you leave. I was really hopeful for this location but I'll give it a miss in future. I thought getting a takeaway would save me the stress from a long day and week, instead he give me all the stress, my blood pressure has gone up. (Shame!) I want him to ask himself if his auntie, mother, or Grandmother would be happy with what he gave us tonightHe and I both know the answer to that!

Amazing food, best takeaway i've had in p'boro for awhile only nack was I was missing 2 dumplings, everything else was spot on
