I have a pension with thes and i called recently to check my options and the advisor was not made out to take telephone call at all

The VERY worst company to try to get ACCURATE information from. As a policy holder, the staff cant answer basic questions when you ask for a call back from a supervisor or line manager, it DOES NOT HAPPEN. My next step is the Insurance Ombudsman

This company is an amalgamation of companies it has acquired over many years. As a result its systems are fragmented and this was a major problem for me. When I reached pension age, I wanted to transfer my pension pot to another provider for an annuity. It was being delayed as I was told a Pension Order still had to be applied. I knew that the Pension Order had already been exercised, but couldn't convince them despite having proof. After many calls, I got through to someone who could see the Pension Order had been done on their system and she was able to update my records for the department who needed to transfer my pension pot. The transfer was made soon after that update. I have nothing but praise for the agents I was talking to. The tools they are using are letting them down.

Passed from pillar to post been trying to trace an Endowment Assurance policy for the last 2years still haven't traced it.
