Clean, Long wait as expected. Had trouble with two vending machines. And neither of the phone numbers were answering. So that soured my evening slightly.

Brest centre. Reasonable meet and greet at the door, good thorough questions. Staff nice and introduced themselves. Fairly prompt service. Well done and thanks to you all.

My elderly Mother recently had a planned 24hrs stay prior to a procedure. I have to say I left with a heavy heart as nurses did not seem to have a clue or care on ward A4. It took 4 hrs to check her in an hour of which was spent waiting for blankets for the bed, a cupboard to put her items in, a gown so she could change. She was offered food despite the fact she was on a no food instruction. The following day on returning to collect her the nurses thought she had been for the procedure yet she was in fact still waiting. No communication or explanations to my confused Mother and the nurse was rather rude when questioned as to why she did not know what was happening to my Mother. Disgusting attitude and upsetting. Surgeon and staff in other department were excellent. Other patients warned us on admission that it was hit and missand they were all trying to help each other. Not what I wanted to hear and leaves me very concerned for future hospital visits. So to add to my previous comments of 5 months ago, my Mother very recently died in this hospital following a devasting 7 days of TOTAL LACK OF CARE and a lack of epathy and correct communication with the family. Rating reduced to 1.
