Horrific. CAFCASS are not fit for purpose. The CAFCASS officers will 'misrepresent the truth' under oath and have a really backwards take on modern struggles of family life.

Disgusting treatment by someone from cafcass, Im not able to name for legal reasons. We had 6 months of proceedings and the so called professional had no contact with myself or dad. The day before her final position statement was due in she called dad for a chat. This conversation which she based her evidence off of was done whilst dad was sat behind a bin because he was in town and had nowhere else private to take her call. She did not schedule an appointment and this phone call lasted around 10 mins. The lady in question did not see me and dad together throughout the whole of the 6 months of proceedings and proceeded to throw a final report to the court which was basically regurgitated nonsense from the social worker. She admitted in court she had not read the carers logs which held crucial information and she admitted that she had not seen us as a family unit. She had very little contact with our children also, yet the court relies on her opinion. I will never understand this corrupt system but I hope some day someday people will come together and make some serious changes. Cafcass are supposed to be the voice of the child, in my honest opinion she gave her own opinion. She was two faced, played us parents against each other and is a professional liar, a very lazy fat one too because all she did was read what the social worker said and repeated it. The cafcass lady has ruined my childs futures. I hope someday to get justice for all she did to destroy my family. Not just her but the whole family court system. I will not go quietly, till the day I die I will never forget nor will I be silenced.
