Order number 271263, placed on 15/04/2023, I purchased a sofa which was advertised as GUARANTEED 7 day delivery. Was delivered damaged faulty furniture on 19th of April 2023, the frame was bent, the delivery company advised me not to accept it, they showed me how it was damaged as they didn't want to bring it all the way up to my 3rd floor flat before I rejected it, understandably, so I agreed, they took pictures and told me they would send them right away to fabb furniture, they advised me to contact them right away. I contacted Fabb, this is where the problems started, for 2 days I was told that the pictures had "not arrived" to them, and that it was the delivery companies fault, which seemed weird to me as the drivers were very helpful and clearly took the photos in front of me and said they sent it off in front of me. I was told to email to complain, which I did and received an email from Aamer stating that he would call me on Monday so that he could find new stock and have a re-delivery arranged. I was told that Fabb furniture provides NO REFUDNS, even if they miss their promises to customers in terms of delivery dates & no discounts can be provided even in the case of poor customer care & damaged goods being delivered to me. Monday rolled around, no call, no contact, I remained patient but no callback. I called in on Tuesday to find out what is happening, I was first spoken rudely to by a Shadia in customer service who told me that the goods I had been refused needed to be "investigated", when I asked her why is that my concern and why no one had called me back on Monday, I was greeted by a rude tone and told the same information word for word, even after asking again and again no response was given, I asked to speak to a manager and I was told all managers are in meetings and can not be asked to speak to customers. She told me that I am free to write a review and she doesn't care about my opinion, she asked me to hang up and call again to speak to someone else as she didn't wish to help me further or provide any other information such as arranging delivery or what their protocols are. I called back an hour after and again was told by a new staff member that again, no managers are available and would never be available to speak to customers, that I could make a complaint, but in essence, the company NEVER provides any compensation or response to complaints, that these things happen. I was told ONLY Aamer can reply to my case and in essence if he doesn't come to work, my concerns will be put on hold. Aamer did not attend work on Monday, Tuesday, & today I found out he won't be at work on Thursday neither. When Aamer called, he actually stated that my "NEW" goods will be "repaired" and then delivered to me, I stated I purchased NEW goods and I want NEW goods, I was suddenly cut off and told to wait in a very rude manner, when he finally did come back to the phone he told me that he has asked management and I must wait another 2 days to get a reply as to my request of getting new goods, which only infuriated me further. I told him that I am unhappy and wish to cancel my order and gain a refund, to which I was told again that I must wait 2 more days to find out, because, he is off tomorrow and no one is allowed to address my concerns until he decides to come back to work. When I put this to Aamer, he simply stated he would terminate the call. What I have realised is that this company does NOT care about customers, they care about money, they lie to you in the store, they give you lies about the fact DFS have a huge marketing budget and this is why they can provide great pricing, but the reality is that they delivery faulty goods, they expect customers to accept damaged and second-hand goods, they treat their customers like criminals and have the worst possible protocols & practices in place that enables customer service staff to treat customers rudely.

Very poor customer service here. The gentlemen at the front with an american accent (appears to be the manager) is very abrupt and dismissive. Doesn't seem interested in selling us anything or showing us anything. Just pointed us in the direction of where the sofas were and went and sat back down. Won't be going back here
