I bought a car from them in 2013. I finally got my money back through the courts and the Sheriff's office July 2017. They finally collected the car at the end of September 2017

Purchased my new vehicle from Woodston car centre about 3 weeks ago. The car drove well at first test drive (but had two faults) - brake noise and a front passenger window that wouldn't open. Woodson car centre promised that faults would be fisxed before I drove it away after buying the car. Oh and and when I handed over the cash (on the promise that both faults would be fixed) *** AND THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD COME WITH AND HAD TWO KEYS *** I went away. Two weeks later after over a weeks delay, I went to collect the car. The owner of the business (I had spoken to his assistant previously) told me the car did not have two keys and that he would not discount the car or provide me with the promised second key! I was up the proverbial steam without a paddle at this point ( having handed over the cash in full), so what could I do? Second key cost me (115.60) when I got it made up. Anyway, a week after purchasing the car I booked it in for a full inspection and full service with my trusted family mechanic. He told me that the brakes (all discs and pads and one calliper), were very unsafe and should not have passed the sales (included one year's MOT). The heater blower motor had an electrical fault (33.65) preventing it from working on all settings), and the air con filter was full of leaves and blocked up (a potential fire hazard. The front brakes were working on 20% efficiency and one if back brakes was working on next to no effeciency at all.... The front tyre's were both of different sizes and one was also of the incorrect speed rating with a bulge and cracking in the tyre tread! The other back tyre was bald from the inside out to the halfway point, and the other had a corroded tyre wall! I replaced both front tyres (230) and all brake components (392.20) out of necessity. Followed by both rear tyres (170.09). As a side note - the non working front passenger window which was working (when I tested it taking the car home ) was then not, however the back passenger side window (after the first test drive) was now not. I can only assume that the garage swapped the motors around assuming I wouldn't check. My car was also missing several pieces of interior trim (and although I can't prove this part), the car(I believe) had been used for spares for other cars in the forecourt of the same type and model. The last part is no biggie but the mot was definitely illegal as well (as the -asssment of the brakes and tyres). Please - Take a mechanic and/or inspector out with you before buying from these people! Also get their MOT checked out fully within a few days of service. - DONT GET CAUGHT OUT as I did.....
