    We needed a new mattress, and I had spotted Bensons had recently opened in the unit formerly occupied by poundland, so went in for a look. Despite the store being much smaller than Dreams, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available for mattresses. We were greeted upon entering the store by Faye, who went on to help us choose and buy a new mattress. Although the shop had only just opened and Faye admitted she was still in training, she was really friendly and helpful in explaining the options and then proceeding to booking delivery. We left in high spirits having ordered the new mattress, and are looking forward to delivery in early May. Many thanks to Faye for your help this evening, and congratulations again on your first sale!

    This store is now CLOSED, the closest one is now in Cambridge. I bought a bed here a few years back and was very happy with it. Went back a week ago to find posters in the windows saying it's now closed, with the closest store being in Cambridge, I submitted a photo and suggested an edit but Google couldn't confirm it. Annoyed as I wasted money on taxis to and from, yet they won't update with my edit despite the image being approved confirming my suggested edit that the store is permanently closed.

    Absolutely shocking service. Spent an awful lot of our hard earned money on a wardrobe and bed in January. Wardrobe came end of March but the bi fold door does not shut properly due to not assembling correctly and leaving a part off. Meant to have 5 year guarantee. Had to send videos and photos for them to get somebody to agree to come and look at it. And as for the bed, was meant to be here in March. Never turned up, despite being told it would. After hours of trying to get hold of anyone via email or phone, was told the bed had been lost in the warehouse. Now found and will deliver the following week. Will be texted 48 hours beforehand to confirm delivery. Surprise surprise, no text received, no bed again. After spending most of my day (again) losing work time and pay, finally speak to someone who has no clue why the bed base has now been removed as being available for delivery. No idea where it is or if it was ever even in the country. No stock, and a delivery date can not even be given or estimated! No offer of a refund or amendment. Was told if we drive an hour over to the store we ordered from, no guarantee of a refund, as their emails are down. Been over a week now these emails have been 'down'. Can't even amend the order with a different base that actually is in stock. Disgusting way to treat customers. I wish i had now purchased from Dreams where we went first. I just don't understand how you expect to keep customers by doing things like this. There must be many more having issues as i was number 79 in the caller queue. Thanks to you we now have no bed to sleep on and no money to get another. Edit: Went over to Peterborough store to try and get refund as told to do by customer services once I finally spoke to someone, and the store has now closed down!

    Sales people in shop very good at their job and very helpful. Just a shame it doesnt carry on with after sales . My Dad ordered his bed from here after our recommendation, and a date was agreed for delivery. This was then postponed later as they didnt have the base just the matress . Finally delivered only to discover after delivery a tear in the base and was told by delivery men to phone office . Since then our local branch has closed with no point of contact locally . A date was finally agreed but heard nothing . Dad rang a national number and had to wait 45 minutes to get through only to be told the date was the following Friday 8/4 between 8 and 1pm. Waited in all morning but heard nothing no text or nothing. I would not recommend Bensons for this reason
