Harvey Winning & Co

I thought a while before writing this post but I think it's only fair to warn of the poor service available from Arjun and his team. It will be interesting to see if I get a response to this post as it always took three or four chases before he would respond while I was one of his "clients".. I found my business with Arjun as Trevor at St James Accounting retired and by means that I'm not party too the St James business transferred to Arjun. I had used Trevor to 25 years without any issues. I'm not sure where to start in the poor service but straight away the PAYE was a mess, closely followed by my requests for the business annual return not being responded too.. I have to say the low point was being told, after chasing Arjun for weeks, to "make an appointment at the office" which I did only to be greeted by Arjun asking who I was and why I was there then trying to tell me he didn't have time to see me!! No way am I putting up with that when I'm paying money for a service.. I gave Arjun 4 months to get his act together but no joy.. I'm pleased to say I've moved my business elsewhere and I'm no longer subject to Arjun's arrogant behaviour. Be aware..

I have used Harvey Winning & Co for over 20 years for both my business and personal accounts and have always found them extremely professional and friendly so I'm not sure where some of these negative reviews are coming from! I was sad to see the previous owner John Allen leave the business in 2019 but Arjun, Nick, Clare and the rest of the team are still providing an exemplary service in my opinion (and I now live in Somerset!). I have no hesitation in recommending them.

New take over! Arjun very competent, understanding, patient, detailed, thorough, professional, and takes time to talk, listen and explain. I feel I am a person and not a number! Very approaching company, and helpful in all ways that you need. Very happy to continue with my business, with Arjun overseeing my accounts. Big mention to Kay also. Always obliging, friendly and helpful. Older reviews are clearly not connected with Arjun.. Best wishes Mat..

I was a bit concerned after reading reviews here, however they were to me recommended by a friend, so I went with my friends advice. So glad I did, not sure what was happening a few years ago but they have been great with me. Arjun has been brilliant, he has been very helpful, explains everything Ive asked and more. I am delighted to find a friendly and professional accountants and would highly recommend this company without hesitation.. which I already have At last in safe hands
