        Just arrived back home today from our first midweek break away to Sherwood hideaway. A great place for couples (and dogs), perfectly quiet and peaceful with great area for walks. Super markets and main walking routes less then 10 minutes away. Hot tub was great being honest we didnt use it much but was a great addition for the price. We have been to a similar holiday previously which is double the price and see no difference. Only small issues which are very tiny and not worth taking away a star was cleaning could be a bit better (e.g- knifes in the block was very dirty and some of the pans had food on- but was a simple 1 minute task to clean so we never mentioned it) house keeping should double check these over. also could do with more cutlery (only 2 of us in the lodge but found had to wash up/dishwasher on due to running out) also more over trays would be amazing as limits what you can cook as only one tray and a dish which was small. Other than that absolutely perfect stay and will book again. Thanks for having us
