The buffet is extensive probably the most on display in any restaurant I ve visited so far in the UK! The food is tasty and lots to choose from.. loved it the first time we went there. The second time , it felt so crowded and like being at a banquet hall for a wedding, crowded and noisy . Perhaps the choice of timing also matters. The fine dine experience is lacking for obvious reasons , primarily being a buffet experience.

Let me begin review of by saying that I am not one for buffets. I find the food underwhelming and the cleanliness questionable when I visit these places. However, having said this I must admit that out of all of the buffets Ive visited this has been the best place that I have visited in terms of two previously mentioned criteria. The starters were very fresh and tasty and I have no bad words to say about them other than the lamb chops being mediocre and chewy - but they were fresh and made in front of me. The same can be said about the desserts. My issue with the buffet arises with the main course options. The curries are quite literally swimming in oil and lack salt, and spices for that matter. The chicken jalfrezi and butter chicken has no difference whatsoever other than colour, I genuinely struggled to differentiate between the two. As for the sundries, the naan bread was thick and stodgy. It wasnt doughy by any means, but it was nowhere near the quality that Im accustomed to. Also, for any vegetarians, this place lacks decent paneer options, so Id struggle to recommend this place to any of you. Overall, I would genuinely struggle to recommend this place. The people that own this place have proved themselves out of the market. They are charging more per head than far superior a la carte options. My only caveat to the previous statement is that this is the one of the few truly halal options out there, so if youre into restaurants that dont serve alcohol and have a byob policy this may be a decent option for you. I believe Ive kept this review very honest and fair, I hope this helps.
