Pentney country club

Unless youve got a caravan with all facilities on board would stay well clear ! We arrived in our vw camper to be told by another guest we could park where we want , no management to be seen . We also got to the clubhouse has shut down and no shop on site . Toilet facilities were poor and toilets constantly blocked, no water pressure for showers. 2 mile walk to the nearest corner shop which had the basics but thats it . Would not recommend!

Just had another lovely weekend here, thank you to Chris and Hayley who really do work.so hard. The cavery was perfect.

Great value, peaceful and well kept site. The owner came around daily for a chat, not in an imposing way, just very friendly and making sure everything was okay. The club has a live band every Saturday night with fair priced food and drinks. Our Two dogs were even allowed to go. Just outside the club there is a good Chinese takeaway inside a pub. Hot showers with no timer, bonus over other sites! Free WiFi. I think when we go back there will be even more improvements but no complaints from us!

Now what can I say, booked 10 days holiday at pentney, would have booked 17 days but had to go back for hospital appointment, had such a lovely time, but the management was so lovely, they said leave the caravan and go to hospital and come back, so we didnt have to take all the caravan all down. Hayley and Chris was so welcoming, came over to see if we needed anything, told us places to go and see, told us about a ford to go to with our dog, had such a great time. The toilets was beautifully clean and the showers, weve been doing camping for years and never gone into a toilet at has been cleaned before youve got up, always smell fresh, We went to the club of the night time, which we dont normally do, but made us very welcome there with our old golden lab, in which Chris took a liking to her lol, and Hayley had a baby lab, which our daisy loved playing with, We had a wonderful 17 days there I just didnt want to come home, the nice bit about it they catered for disabled people, and Im one of those, there was ramps to go in the club, witch was great. We cant wait to go back there, there was no fast cars going passed no police going through with the sirens. One of the bests holiday weve ever had, and would like to say thank you Hayley and Chris for making it great xxxxxxxxx
